CANDLE TANTRUM

Candle Tantrum Publisher

Privacy policy

Effective October 23, 2026

Candle Tantrum Publisher is a private, owner-operated tool. It uses YouTube API Services to support the owner's channel. This policy covers the tool and these public information pages.

Information accessed and used

With the owner's Google authorization, the tool accesses the channel identifier and channel details, video identifiers and metadata, upload and processing status, privacy and publication settings, playlists and captions needed for the requested work. It processes owner-supplied video files, artwork, scripts and captions to prepare and manage releases.

OAuth access and refresh credentials enable authorized API calls. The tool does not request or store the owner's Google password. Its current OAuth permission can permit more actions than its publishing workflow uses; consent and operational checks both matter.

Processing, storage and sharing

The workflow runs in the owner's local or managed cloud production environment. Authorized data may be processed by OpenAI's Codex services to carry out the owner's instructions. Google receives API requests and uploaded material. Selected script text may be sent to ElevenLabs to generate narration; Google credentials are not sent to ElevenLabs.

Credentials are stored in protected local files or managed environment secrets, separately from source control. Working media and necessary production records are stored in private workspaces; compact project records may be retained in a private repository. Access is limited to the owner and the services used to provide the workflow.

The tool does not sell Google user data, use it for advertising, or use it to train generalized AI models. Candle Tantrum Publisher's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.

Retention, deletion and revocation

Working files are kept while needed for production, review and recovery. The owner controls retained source media and archives. API-derived records must be refreshed or deleted in accordance with YouTube's retention requirements; authorization does not permit indefinite retention of stale API data.

The owner can request removal of stored tool data through the contact route below, or remove it from the managed workspace and local records. Revoked or deleted authorization must also be removed from the workflow. The operator will delete associated stored authorized API data within seven calendar days of a deletion request or revocation, except where applicable law requires retention.

Revoke the tool's access in Google account security settings. Revocation prevents future authorized access but does not itself delete videos already uploaded to YouTube. Those videos can be managed in YouTube Studio.
